Spring is here

After a far too long winter, I think we can safely say that Spring is finally making it's way here in southern Maine.  The rhubarb is already bursting open in the garden and you know what that means.. Rhubarb Patch Jam!
We've been busy readying for the opening day of farmers market, been  very busy in the gardens expanding the blueberry beds, transplanting all the herb seedlings and stirring up the jam pots! Today I'm infusing blackberries in Shirah.

Many thanks to all that answered our survey. I really appreciated all your comments!
Looking forward to another fruitful season, and seeing you all at farmers market. Mark your calendars.. Opening Dates for Kennebunk Farmers Market--Saturday, May 4th.  And for Wells Farmers Market--Every Wednesday beginning May 22.
